Once again, the 37th annual Holly-Day Magic Art and Craft Show was a huge success, allowing us to make major contributions to benefit the youth of our area. These funds have been distributed to The Assurance Home, the First Tee Program of Southeastern New Mexico, the Roswell Police Explorers Program, and to Roswell’s high schools.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all whose generosity contributed to the success of the show. First, a special thank you goes to the artisans, artists and crafters who exhibited at the show for providing such an excellent array of creations. Thanks also go to Roswell Daily Record Vision editor Christina Stock and The Ink Editor Roy Van der Aa for publishing articles about our event. We also thank KBIM Radio, Majestic Communications, Pecos Valley Broadcasting and newspapers in Roswell, Carlsbad, Artesia, Ruidoso and Las Cruces for their care with our advertisements. And we thank the many organizations, businesses and individuals who graciously supported our efforts in many ways, including:
Roger Shamp, Tonia and Troy Gilliard of “Here We Go Again,” Pepper’s Grill & Bar, and Finishing Touches (all of whom contributed such wonderful items to help with our fundraising, making our prize winners so happy), the kind, patient and hard-working staff of the Roswell Convention and Civic Center, volunteers from the Roswell Police Department, Enchanted Lands Storage, the property and business owners who allowed the placement of our signs, Southwest Printers LLC, High Chaparral Cafe, the volunteers whose help with the set-up and the running of the show was invaluable, and the representatives from the First Tee Program and The Assurance Home who worked so hard helping the vendors during set-up and take-down.
And perhaps most importantly, our vendors and our area’s youth appreciate the tremendous support provided by local shoppers. All of us at Holly-Day Magic want to express our deepest gratitude to you and wish you all a joyous holiday season!
