The roommate beat this woman and it’s not considered domestic violence? he agencies agencies that are refusing to help her need to be visited by a reporter and find out why.
I always thought that “Domestic Violence” law meant a person with whom you have resided. It did not necessarily have to be a spouse, or a child, but only someone who you have lived with. Battery on a household member for instance, what about that law? Isn’t that also domestic violence? I believe that with the violence shown to this victim, the DA’s office would charge the perpitrator with every charge that is on the NM law books. This is outrageous.
wow!! and they wonder why more and more people keep getting away with crap like this!!! come’on NM Laws!!!! Make a stand for this woman, she obviously DID have a domestic violence issue in the home with broken jaw, being tied down, scars…. ect…. and you don’t consider that DV? What’s wrong with the big picture here? She can’t even live her life as before, she is going to have a hard time finding work now with her disabilities. NM Laws need to be revised and changed before more cases like this happen and more people end up 6 ft under!!!! CRAZY!!!!
