Parents of Addicted Loved ones to hold first meeting

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones is meeting at the Reflections and Recovery Ministry Center, 3103 West Alameda Street at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
PAL is a free educational support group for parents, families and friends of addicted loved ones. This is a new program open to anyone 18 and older.
PAL group educational topics and discussions will highlight the addiction cycle, traits and behaviors, delayed emotional growth, the role of family, releasing your loved one, emotional detachment, setting realistic boundaries, accepting consequences, enabling behaviors, financial strings, steps of recovery and recognizing relapse.
