The fundraiser begins in Artesia, stops at five locations and ends with a party, dirt bike “grudge match” and a live performance by Kimberly Dunn at the Third Street venue.
Shown for left are Sunday Torrez from Artesia, Raul Velasquez of Artesia and “Arod” from Lovington.
This year’s event raises money for the Southeast New Mexico Veterans Transportation Network. Last year’s event raised about $17,000 for a group that provides service dog to veterans. Cruz’n for Vets is organized by Penasco Valley Telecommunications and is sponsored this year by Roswell Hyundai.
