What’s happening at Senior Circle

Safe-driving class offered
Senior Circle is hosting the AARP Safe Driving class from 1 to 5 p.m. on June 20. The class is open to anyone 50 or older.

The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Successful completion of the class usually means a discount in auto insurance. Check with your insurance company for more information on discounts.
To enroll, call Senior Circle at 623-2311. Payment should be made when you arrive for the class. Checks should be made out to AARP. Cash is accepted. No credit cards. The class will be held at 2801 N. Main St., Suite D, next door to Family Dollar.

Birthday party set today
Senior Circle’s monthly birthday party is at 2 p.m. today. All members and prospective members are invited.
In addition to snacks and birthday cake, Brookdale is providing ice cream! City Councilor Natasha Mackey will sing at the birthday party. Door prizes will be given out as well.
For more information on either of these events, call Senior Circle at 623-2311. Senior Circle is a resource of Eastern New Mexico Medical Center and is for people in the area age 50 and older. It is located in the Wilshire Center, 2801 N. Main St., next door to Family Dollar.
