The Roswell Aces 9-and-under AA baseball team won the silver bracket at the USSSA Last Chance tournament in Alamogordo June 17 and 18. The Aces went 1-1 in pool play, topping the Farmington Braves 19-4 before falling to the Las Cruces Diesel 17-13. In bracket play, the Aces smoked the competition, topping the Hobbs Warriors 22-3 and the Braves two more times, 11-3 and 16-1 in the final game to claim the championship.
