More than $2,000 in damages to fast-food restaurant attributed to burglary

The following reports are from the Roswell Police Department and are available at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police were dispatched to the Long John Silver’s at the 1800 block of South Main Street at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday in response to a burglary in process. Damages to a glass portion of a door and large window were valued at $2,400.

Arrests and arrest citations
Jonathan Martinez-Lopez, 27, was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor at East Street at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Mario I. Carbajal. 44, was charged with possession of prohibited controlled substances at the 1900 block of West First Street at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Christopher Lloyd Chaves, 32, was charged with possession of marijuana at the corner of East McGaffey Street and Johnson Avenue at 1:33 p.m. Wednesday.
Benito Herrera, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana at the corner of Pear Street and Orchard Avenue at 10:56 p.m. Wednesday.

Burglaries
Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Hall Drive at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a vehicle burglary. A set of drills including battery backs valued at $300 were reported stolen.
Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of North Wilshire Boulevard at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a burglary call. There were no reports of any items stolen.
Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Main Street at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a vehicle burglary. A set of keys valued at $99 was reported stolen.

Criminal damages
Police were dispatched to JP Stone Bank at the 1800 block of South Main Street in reference to a criminal damage call. Windows with a total estimated value of $1,000 were reported damaged.
Police were dispatched to Wild West Auction at the 200 block of East Seventh Street at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a criminal damage call. Damages to the walls on the building were estimated at $700.

Fraud
Police were dispatched to Target at the 2700 block of North Main Street at 11:11 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a return fraud. $144.02 in cash was reported stolen.

Larcenies
Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Estrellita Drive at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a breaking and entering of a vehicle.
Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a shoplifting call. A pair of Nike Air Jordan shoes valued at $190 were reported stolen.
Police were dispatched to the Target at the 2700 block on North Main Street at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday. Various items with a total value of $302.32 was stolen and later recovered.

Unlawful taking of motor vehicle
Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Carol Ann Way at 8:04 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 2003 Chevy Tahoe valued at $2,500 was reported stolen.
