A new website has been launched to streamline business transactions for companies and firms in New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Information Technology (DoIT), in cooperation with other state agencies, created the New Mexico Business Portal (NMBP) as a one-stop online resource for New Mexico businesses. It can be found at businessportal.nm.gov.
The portal provides access and instructions on various functions and interactions involving state government. These include registering a corporation, submitting filings with the Department of Workforce Solutions and reporting tax information with the Taxation and Revenue Department.

“Establishing this new online portal is part of Gov. (Susana) Martinez’s efforts to make New Mexico more competitive and business friendly,” said DoIT Cabinet Secretary Darryl Ackley. “By reducing red tape and helping entrepreneurs streamline their transactions with state government, we can continue to attract new companies and better help those already here grow and thrive.”
DoIT implemented the portal through a partnership with several state agencies, including the Economic Development Department, Taxation and Revenue Department and the Department of Workforce Solutions.
