A 35-year-old man who was staying in south Roswell has disappeared from his residence.

The family of Adam Joel Lopez said they have been unable to contact him since June 26, according to a missing report from the Roswell Police Department. Police said it is believed his cellphone is no longer working.
Lopez, not a student, rented a room at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell’s dorms for the summer.
Lopez’s mother reported her son missing to the RPD after she entered his room to find that he was not there.
The dorm supervisor said he had not seen Lopez in a few weeks, although his personal belongings were still in his room.
According to the report, Lopez’s family and police checked with local hospitals and area jails, but Lopez remains to be found.

Police said it is unknown what Lopez was last wearing. He was described as 5 foot, 6 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on his back that reads, “Lopez.”
Police said it is believed Lopez did not have a vehicle.
Anyone with potential information about the whereabouts of Lopez was asked to call the RPD at 575-624-6770.
