Handguns, $2,000, pit bull stolen throughout weekend

The following reports are from the Roswell Police Department and are available at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Arrests and arrest citations
Petra Ann Gonzales, 44, was charged with failure to appear at the corner of West 1st Street and North Main Street at 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Saturnino O. Larez, 37, was charged with failure to comply and concealing identity at the 2300 block of Cahoon Avenue at 10:11 p.m. Saturday.
Julian Lopez Martinez, 25, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liqueur at the 400 block of East McGaffey Street at 2:55 a.m. Sunday.

Larcenies
Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Union Avenue at 3:16 a.m. Friday in reference to a larceny. A purse and wallet with a value of $400 was reported stolen in addition to a Heritage revolver valued at $500.
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of West 11th Street at 10:13 p.m. Friday in reference to a larceny. Records state that $2,000 in cash was reported stolen.
Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of North Washington Avenue at 4:29 p.m. Sunday in reference to a larceny. An American Pit Bull Terrier valued at $950 was reported stolen.
Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street at 1:25 p.m. Sunday in reference to a shoplifting. A pair of shoes valued at $123.82 was reported stolen.

Burglaries
Police were dispatched to the 800 block of South Caminisito Street at 8:31 a.m. Friday in reference to a vehicle burglary. A Sig Sauer handgun and ammunition with a value of $500 was reported stolen from a Chevy vehicle.

Criminal damage
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Washington Avenue at 10:40 a.m. Friday in reference to a criminal damage call. Windows to a door with a estimated value of $400 was reported damaged.
Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Rancho Road at 1:26 p.m. Friday in reference to a criminal damage. Front windows valued at $400 were reported damaged.

Unlawful taking of motor vehicle
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Lea Avenue at 2:57 p.m. Sunday in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 1997 Chrysler vehicle valued at $1,000 was reported stolen.
