Volunteers clean up along Relief Route

Submitted Photo Members of the Roswell Bike Club and Reflections and Recovery Ministries cleaned up a mile of the Roswell Relief Route Aug. 5. The 15 volunteers picked up 31 bags of trash, two boxes of shredded tree limbs and other items, according to organizer Perry Toles of the Roswell Bike Club. The two groups also work together on the annual Tour de Ocho Millas race at Bottomless Lakes State Park. The seventh annual bicycle race, sponsored by Xcel Energy, will occur Sept. 9. Proceeds benefit Reflections and Recovery, which helps people overcome addictions or other harmful behaviors. More information is available at facebook.com/tourdeochomillas.
