Neil Thomas Wentland was born on September 19, 1963, in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Anne and Nelson Wentland. As a child, baseball quickly became “life.” Tom, as everyone called him, excelled in sports; spending his summers playing Cape League baseball and his off-seasons on the cranberry bogs.
Tom met the true love of his life, Christi Graham, the summer of 1987. Shortly after, they married and began their life together in Roswell, raising three handsome boys and their beautiful daughter.
Tom enjoyed coaching baseball and impacted many young lives. Seeing his “kids,” years later, and being called “Coach” was one of his favorite things. His legacy will always remain within the children he and his wife raised, as well as his baseball children.
Tom is survived by his children; Skye, Christian, Cole, and Christine Wentland.
This obituary tribute was lovingly written by Tom’s family.
