Esther Kay Vandeveer was the third child born to Frank Wesley Vandeveer and Willie Mae Marcom Vandeveer. She was born on November 12, 1951 in Pecos, Reeves, Texas. She passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Casa Maria Healthcare Center in Roswell, NM.
Esther’s family moved to Roswell shortly after her birth. She attended East Side Elementary School and East Grand Plains Elementary where she attended special education classes.
She loved all the holidays, especially Christmas, she would decorate and would always wear something special to celebrate. Growing up, the family always had pets and she was very fond of all of them, especially the cats.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents Frank Wesley in 1968 and Willie Mae in 2002 and sister, Mary Ann Vandeveer in 2013.
