About myself. I was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico, and first enlisted in the HQ and HQ Battery 200th Arty Group.

I served in the Roswell units from September 1966 until July 1974 and again from July 1977 until being transferred in July 1994. I was the Command Sergeant Major for the New Mexico Army National Guard in Santa Fe from 1995 until 2002. With that said, the following is respectfully submitted.
Past members of the Roswell National Guard units, HHB, Btry A, 1st Bn 200th ADA and 320th Ord Det hosted a “Keeping it Top Gun” reunion on Aug. 19. Many, many past members attended, the newly appointed Adjutant General, Major General Ken Nava stopped by to say hello and visit with some of the soldiers.

There were many of the past battalion commanders and their command sergeants major, past battery commanders and their first sergeants that attended the reunion. The local units of the New Mexico Army National Guard have long lineage of service to our nation.
I would like thank all of those who worked so hard organizing the reunion and preparing and serving two wonderful meals. Without their time, effort and love of their county, unit and members, this reunion would not have been as successful as it was. Thank you.
