Bottomless Lakes State Park will hold its 14th annual Bubble Fest on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-3.

This is an event designed for the scuba diving enthusiast.
Dive poker is an underwater card game where divers will search for cards scattered across the bottom of Lea Lake. The best five card poker hand will take the prize to be awarded on Sunday, Sept. 3, at 1p.m. at the campground group shelter. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place.
Scuba dive the 90-foot depths of Lea Lake. Search for the springs that produce more than 5 million gallons of water daily. Spot threatened fish species such as the Pecos pupfish and Mexican tetra. And how many turtle species can you find?
Relax between dives on the sandy Lea Lake beach or enjoy a volleyball game on the sand volleyball courts.

Rent a pedal boat or paddle board to explore the surface of Lea Lake.
Come join us at the historic Lea Lake pavilion Saturday night at 8 p.m. for a scuba diving-related program.
Located 14 miles southeast of Roswell, Bottomless Lakes State Park is your place for bottomless fun. Enjoy non-motorized boating in your kayak or canoe; camp, fish, picnic, swim, hike, go birding or even scuba dive. The unique lakes at this park are sinkholes, ranging from 17 to 90 feet deep. The greenish-blue color created by aquatic plants is what gives the lakes the illusion of great depth.
Bottomless Lakes State Park is located at 545 A Bottomless Lakes Road, Roswell. For more information, call 575-624-6058.
