Clifford Wayne Malott, 78, Roswell, New Mexico, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, died on September 6, 2017. He was born June 26, 1939, the seventh of eight children to Katherine E. (Murray) and Lloyd A. Malott. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Mary Catherine (Long) on June 26, 2017. Also, preceding him in death are his brothers: Richard Clayton and Lloyd Andrew Malott; and sisters: Anne Jeanette Malott and Carolyn Kay (Malott) Buchanan. Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Lanham of Roswell, New Mexico;
grandchildren: Troy Rolon of Greenwood, Indiana, and Kayelin Lanham of New Mexico; great-granddaughter, Cambria Rolon; sisters: Nancy Rebecca (Malott) Swisher (Eugene) of Lexington, Kentucky, Mary Jane (Malott) Dellinger of Indianapolis, Indiana, Judith Elayne (Malott) Jones of Greenwood, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
Clifford was a talented artist working mostly with ceramics. His personal studio was located on Washington Street, in Morgantown, Indiana, previously in Nashville, Indiana, and later on S.R. 135 in Trafalgar, Indiana. He also had been a baker working for Publix Grocery in St. Petersburg, Florida and for exclusive resorts in Safe Harbor, Florida.
