About 200 customers of Berrendo Cooperative Water Users Association will have no water service for a few hours today.

Customers living on Ransom Road, Eisenhower Road, Cactus Lane and the Big Apple area near West Second Street will have water shut off from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., said Office Manager Elizabeth Niece.

The cooperative is turning off water at that time as it ties its lines into a new water tank on Six Mile Hill, she said.
Niece said that the association, which has about 1,600 members, does not expect any future service shut-downs due to this situation.
