Goddard Cross Country places in the NMMI Invitational

Goddard’s Cross Country boys and girls team competed in the NMMI Invitational on Saturday.

Hailey Heiling of Goddard finished 15th overall and sixth in the district with a time of 22.07.Making a strong showing was senior, July Jones with a time of 20.45. Goddard’s varsity boys are a young team this season and finished strong in the district. Kendrick Davis (junior) finished 16th overall with a 17.28, Nick Fox (sophomore) finished with a time of 18.19.

First-year runners Julian Quintero (sophomore) had a time of 19.12, and Ben Grafe 19.28, and Taylor Ramage (sophomore) 20.48. Josh Montoya (senior) closed in with a 19.26, along with David Quintero (senior)at 19.38.
Running in the invitational were junior varsity runners Luke Fulkerson, 23.13. Santiago Erives 23.24, Daniel Montoya 23.28, and Jacob Doege 24.05.
Goddard will run in the Ft. Stanton meet Saturday.
