Emmert is named Pioneer Bank CFO

Aaron Emmert, a 24-year banking professional, has joined Pioneer Bank of Roswell as its senior vice president and chief financial officer.


Emmert began his banking career in 1993, according to a news release, and has held positions in the areas of finance, operations and lending. Most recently, he was a senior commercial lender for Idaho Independent Bank in Coeur d’Alene. Prior to that, he worked with Pioneer Bank in El Paso as market president, a position he held for three years.

With accepting the new CFO position, he has relocated to Roswell with his family.

“Pioneer Bank is a first-class operation, and I am pleased to join their management team,” said Emmert. “I am looking forward to my new role as CFO and helping Pioneer Bank achieve its financial and operational goals.”

A native of El Paso, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, from Texas A & M University and a master of business administration from the University of Texas in El Paso.

Pioneer Bank began in 1901 as the Roswell Building and Loan Association. It has grown to 16 locations in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.
