Varsity Boys:

Varsity Boys team came in 11th place with 199 official points.

Information about the meet in general: East Mountain High School has 1.5 mile trail in the woods behind the school. It was a two lap challenging dirt course. There were several rolling hills and longer straight-aways, but one big hill that was in the middle of the race and again at the end. EMHS is at 7,000 feet in elevation. Overall, the path makes a very good cross country running trail.

East Mountain High School and the trail are located just 15 miles east of Albuquerque, on North Highway 14, near the Sandia Ski Slopes.


The Goddard Rocket Cross Country team ran at the East Mountain High School Nick Martin Memorial Invite on Saturday. The course is set at 7,000 feet in elevation.

The JV Boys placed second overall, and Taylor Ramage finished 2nd individually with a time of 22.32. Santiago Erives finished 15th at 24.56. Luke Fulkerson 16th at 25.05. Jacob Doege 26th at 27.01. Followed by Daniel Montoya 31st at 28.38.

The Goddard Boys Varsity team finished 5th place overall. Kendrick Davis finished 7th individually with a time of 19.48. Nick Fox, 30th place with a 21.20. Julian Quintero was 40th overall at 22.10, and David Quintero 41st at 22.12. Josh Montoya 46th at 22.19. Ben Graef 47th at 22.20.

Goddard’s Varsity Girl, Hailey Heiling, finished 26th place individually with a time of 26.20.
