Tammie Kay Baumann
12/13/1963 – 08/27/2017

Tammie lived her life with exuberance.. She manifested her greatest sense of courage in facing her death. She endured a very rare cancer that has no known cause or cure, for seven months

Tammie was spiritual in her route. She was positive in outlook and prayer. She did not want to leave her beloved daughter, Natalie Marie Viscuso., who resides in Los Angeles, CA., But, she knew, even as she received the Sacrament of Healing of the Catholic Church, that she would soon be with Jesus.

Tammie was a member of the 1982 classes of Ursuline Academy and of Hillcrest in Dallas. She worked for architectural concerns for many years, in both Dallas and Austin, culminating as a Lobbyist for the Texas Association of Architects. Tammie moved to California to be near Natalie. There, she started her own firm called “Expedite LA”, wherein she read drawings and then obtained permits and other needed documentation for builders.

Tammie’s many friends have shown sadness and love for her. They repeatedly say that she was always so full of life, joy, happiness, empathy, generosity. When she entered a room, it came to life, radiated in her smile. Until the day before her death, Tammie gave that same smile and a thumbs-up!

Joining Natalie in sadness are Tammie’s parents, RoseMarie and David Baumann of Roswell, NM; her brother, Bret Baumann and family of Dripping Springs, TX; her sister, Carrie-Leigh Baumann Cloutier and brother Beau Baumann, both with their families, of Roswell, NM.
