What’s a birthday without a cake?

On Friday executive director of the Roswell Museum and Art Center, Brooks, welcomed everybody to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the RMAC and the 50th anniversary of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence program at the RMAC. More than 175 RAiR artists from around the world came in person to participate in the event and meet follow RAiR artists. Those who were not able to come had sent in their art to be represented. Kintigh recognized the anniversaries and encouraged the artists not to stay within four walls, but to reach out to the public. After the short speech, the birthday cake was cut.
