Only minor injuries have been reported following an accident involving four vehicles in south Roswell.
Around 4:10 p.m., the Roswell Police Department, firefighters and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the corner of Southeast Main and East Hobbs streets in reference to a multiple-vehicle accident with injuries.
The dispatcher advised of a vehicle smoking as a result of the crash as well as a woman bleeding from her face.
The front bumper to a compact sport utility vehicle involved had completely fallen off, as well as parts of the vehicle’s headlights. A truck directly in front of the compact vehicle received little damage.
Another vehicle involved was relocated to a nearby parking lot. It received massive damage to the front, as well as cracks to the driver’s side vehicle.
According to the RPD’s public information officer, Todd Wildermuth, only minor injuries were sustained during the accident.
RPD officers and a public service aide diverted traffic around the area as firefighters and EMTs treated a woman with minor injuries. The woman involved was later placed onto a stretcher and into an ambulance for further treatment.
