William Dale Palombi, 20, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 8, 2017, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His memorial service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 2420 N. Garden Avenue, Roswell, New Mexico. Rev. Fred MacDonald will conduct the service.
William was born on November 18, 1996 in Roswell. He graduated from Goddard High School in 2015. At Goddard, he was a dedicated member of Future Farmers of America. He was very active in their competitions and his teammates were among his closest friends. While a member of FFA, he and his teammates won a number of state championships and placed in national competition. He was an avid gamer with a great sense of humor and was quick with a sarcastic comment. He was a good friend that was always there to listen and offer a helping hand.
He is survived by his mother and father, Elisha and Dan Hicks, his brothers, Michael Craycraft and wife Sarah, Vincent Palombi and wife Amanda, Joe Hicks, Josh Hicks, Jared Hicks, Jeremy Hicks and brothers by choice, Ryan Williams and Bowen Duncan, his sisters, Valerie Palombi and Mary Hicks and grandparents, Bill and Onie Hicks and Judy Craycraft. He is also survived by a nephew, nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orville Craycraft.
