ENMU-Roswell accepting students for pilot training program

ENMU-Roswell is accepting students for its new Professional Pilot Training Program. The campus has acquired a plane to be used exclusively for beginning pilot training.

The Professional Pilot Training (PPT) program at ENMU-Roswell is a two-year Associate of Science degree program. Students will complete a comprehensive core of both academic courses and degree specific training. After earning the degree, graduates will have the private, commercial, instrument and instructor licensures needed to acquire the flight hours to become Airline Transport Pilots.

Students will begin training right away in a Cessna 172SP with a full instrument cluster for instrument flight training and autopilot. Students will find that flight training in Roswell provides wide open air space in mainly ideal weather and flying conditions. For more information, contact Lyle Lane, aviation director, at 575-624-7022.
