Inventive Girl Scouts receive high honor

Kaleigh Hembree and Mason Deen of Girl Scout Troop 18014 were recently awarded the bronze award for their work entitled “Recycle, Reuse and Make the World Greener.” Their project consisted of many hours working on sustainable gardening projects at the Roswell zoo and Roswell Historical Museum in addition to planting flowers on Main Street and a Master Gardener Awards Program they created. The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout and the third-highest national award a Girl Scout can achieve. (Submitted Photo)
