Man struck by vehicle Monday

A man reportedly struck and pinned by a vehicle has been transported to a local hospital in moderate condition.

According to the Roswell Police Department’s public information officer, Todd Wildermuth, Roswell police, and fire departments were dispatched to were dispatched to the 600 block of South Aspen Avenue at about 6:25 p.m.

Police said a 28-year old man had been working on a vehicle at or near the address when something happened — causing him to become pinned between two vehicles.

Wildermuth said the actual accident is believed to have taken place about a half hour before authorities received the original call — when the situation was discovered.

“Medics described his injuries as moderate and transported him to a hospital,” Wildermuth said.
