Nathaniel Tavarez’ wish was granted by the New Mexico Wish Chapter. As one of the wish grantors, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Red Lobster for providing the send-off dinner for Nathaniel and all of us who attended the dinner. The staff and management of Red Lobster were so kind.

Make-A-Wish of NM is located at 144 Louisiana Blvd., NE Albuquerque, NM, 87108. They are part of Make-A-Wish of America, however, each chapter raises funds to help grant the Wishes to the deserving children in their area. It would be a blessing to the children in our community if you would go online to Make-A-Wish New Mexico and learn about ways to give to these children with life-threatening illnesses.

A small fact about Make-A Wish is that we exist throughout the USA and its territories. Most importantly, every 37 minutes a child with a life-threatening illness is granted a Wish.

As a parent of a child who received a Wish, I can honestly say that Make-A-Wish gave our family memories that are remembered fondly when we remember our daughter Katharine.

Thank you to the Roswell Daily Record and to KBIM/KRQE for the excellent coverage for Nathaniel’s Wish and again thank you to Red Lobster for the fabulous send-off dinner for Nathaniel, his family and friends.
