From ceramics and stained glass to line dancing and hula dancing to yoga and aerobics, winter classes are preparing to begin at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center. In addition to these offerings, Tae kwon do, Spanish, adult coloring, tap dancing and creative recycling are other options.

Registration for the winter-session classes will be open from Dec. 18 through Jan. 6. Classes will start the week of Jan. 8. A complete list of the class offerings, including the days and times of each, and duration, can be picked up at the Adult and Recreation Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.

Adult classes are open to ages 18 and older and children’s classes are designed for ages 12 and up. Cost of most classes range from $30 to $40 for a ten week session and supplies are extra.

Instructors are being sought for future programs. Fitness and dance instructors, artists, bilingual individuals, computer instructors, musicians, gardeners and others are invited to submit an application to teach classes at the center.

For more information about upcoming classes or becoming an instructor, contact supervisor Sara Hall at (575) 624-6718 or message her on the Roswell Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
