Lovelace Health System has hired a new chief financial officer of Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell, effective Jan. 8.
Mary Bevier has over 15 years of experience as a healthcare executive, most recently as an assistant chief financial officer at Tenet Healthcare and Cardondelet Network in Tucson, Arizona.
In her time with Tenet as controller and ACFO, Bevier was responsible for budgets, forecasting and daily operations for a 486-bed acute facility, as well as managing materials and case management.
Prior to coming to Lovelace in Roswell, Bevier served at a variety of healthcare facilities and systems, including Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo; CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe; Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio; and Mental Health & Recovery Centers of Warren County in Lebanon, Ohio.
Bevier earned a bachelor of arts in both business and accounting at Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio. She has a public accountant certification from Ohio.
