A Roswell Police officer walks toward employees of the Circle K at 3213 N. Main St. Monday evening to inform them that the area had been cleared by authorities after a bomb threat was made to the convenience store.

A bomb threat made to a local convenience store turned out to be the result of frustrated customer over the phone.

According to the RPD’s public information officer, Todd Wildermuth, the threat was made about 6:30 p.m. to the Circle K at 3213 N. Main St. Approximately 30 minutes later, the store was deemed all clear.

Police said, in actuality, a customer was upset by a clerk’s answer when inquiring about soft drink prices, and in response, made an explosive threat against the business.
