ARTESIA — The U.S. Border Patrol Academy will be holding academy session 1081’s graduation ceremony on December 27.  The trainees of Class 1081 will be deployed to various sectors across the southwest border in a variety of environments.

The skill sets learned while here at the academy prepare the graduates for the challenges they will face in the field.

The graduation ceremony will include an awards ceremony and guest speaker, Chief Patrol Agent Daniel Hiebert from the Houlton Sector. The Border Patrol Academy strives to instill CBP’s core values of Vigilance, Integrity, and Service to Country to each and every agent that graduates the Border Patrol Academy.

Please join us as we celebrate the 1081st session of the United States Border Patrol Academy on December 27 at 9:15 a.m. at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy at 1300 W. Richey in Artesia. Inspection begins at 7:00 am.

The Federal Law Enforcement Center is a secure facility and requires a vetting process for media, visitors, and guests to enter the premises. Still and video photography will be permitted during the graduation.
