Rudy R. Salcido, 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2017, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, December 29, 2017, 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On January 24, 1953, Rudy was born to Miguel Salcido and Lorenza Ramirez Salcido in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He married Sylvia Salcido on May 3, 1975, in Roswell, New Mexico. Retired Assembler, Rudy enjoyed football and was extremely family oriented and loved his grandchildren. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. Rudy will be greatly missed and the memories he shared with his family and friends will forever remain in their hearts.
Those left to cherish Rudy’s memory are his loving wife, Sylvia Salcido; daughter, Candy Jaimes and husband, Noel Jaimes of Euless, Texas; son, Rodney Salcido and wife, Jennifer Salcido of Roanoke, Texas; grandchildren: Deanna Marie Salcido, Jacob Jaimes, Britany Horn, Phillip Salcido; brother, Samuel Salcido; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Rudy in death were his son, Philip Alexander Salcido; parents: Miguel Salcido and Lorenza Ramiez Salcido; sisters: Kella Perez, Rachel Cobos; brothers: Juan Salcido, Pete Salcido; nephew, Jeffrey Cobos; and loving pet “Ethel Lynn.”
Those chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are: Noel Jaimes, Larry Lucero Jr, Ben Vigil Jr, Eddy Vigil, Bobby Vigil, Arturo Cobos and Carlos Cobos.
Pallbearers will be: Anthony Vigil, Paul Vigil, Leo Lucero, SalRay Salcido, Eddy Cobos and Greg Pacheco.
The family of Rudy Salcido would like to send a Special Thanks to everyone for the love, support and assistance during this time.
Rudy’s family will be having a memorial dinner following interment at US Army National Guard Armory, 1 W. Earl Cummings Loop, Roswell, NM, and would like to invite everyone to join them.
