Loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Judith Blaha, 65, passed away at home on January 31, 2018. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 10:00 AM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Born on October 13, 1952 to Rex P Leibert and Ardell Gibbens, Judith graduated high school and moved on into a career of service to others. She was a Certified Surgical Technician at Lutheran Hospital in Omaha, NE, for 25 years and a Technician at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, for 15 years.
Judith was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and a member of the Crescent, IA, Optimist Club. In 1999, she moved to New Mexico to care for her parents. Judith was the first to volunteer for any tough, hard, or demanding job. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her family.
Preceding Judith in death were her husband, James J Blaha; parents, Rex P Leibert and Ardell H Gibbens; brother, Robert W Leibert; nephew, Troy P Ceder and loving pet, Pepper.
Those remaining to cherish the memory of Judith are daughter, Jamie Blaha; granddaughter, Lena Dell Blaha; brothers: Rex H Leibert, Jon D Leibert, Andy Wieman, Tim Leibert; sister, Debra Ceder; nephews: Dustin Ceder, J.D. Leibert, Dillian Leibert, Tristan Leibert; nieces: Christine Leibert, April Leibert, Sarah Leibert, Ashley Frost, Rebecca Leibert, Shaylynn Arrick and Dana Autrey.
Pallbearers will be: Mag Martinez, John Kight, Jonathon Kight, Don O’Connor, Zane O’Connor and Dale Jones.
