The public is invited to attend an upcoming General Services Committee workshop to discuss the Spring River Park and Zoo Master Plan.

The General Services Committee will hold the workshop Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Roswell Museum and Art Center’s Bassett Auditorium. The museum is at 100 W. 11th St.

The draft of the zoo master plan has been created by Morrow Reardon Wilkinson Miller Landscape Architects (MRWM), an Albuquerque-based firm whose specialties include the planning and development of public parks. The consultant from the firm, Rob Loftis, will provide a detailed presentation of the process used to create the plan.

The city encourages the public to attend the meeting to offer input and feedback regarding the plan as the committee considers this draft and discusses any possible changes to it as it moves through the city process before being finalized.
