RPD seeking photos of retirees for photo wall

The Roswell Police Department is planning a “Photo Wall” within the police station and is asking for photos of RPD members who retired from the department with 20 years (or close to it) or more of service with RPD. If any of these retired personnel or their family and friends have photos that we could use for this internal project. If one is willing to share a photo with us, call the department at (575) 624-6770. The RPD can make a copy of any photo if necessary.

We plan to frame each photo — which can be from many years ago or more recent — and include with the frame some brief information indicating when the person served with RPD. The purpose of the project is so RPD and its current members can remember and recognize those who spent the majority of their careers serving this community as part of the police force.

Once the “photo wall” is established with the initial collection of photos, it will be continually updated with new additions as they become available. There is plenty of wall space; just photos of past RPD members are needed. Please call if you can provide a photo and the RPD thanks the community in assisting to honor the retirees.
