Angie loved her family beyond words, especially her grandchildren. She was always, always thinking of them and loved spending time with them. They called her, “Gma Angie,” and would always want her to pick them up to hang out with her because she was super, super fun! Angie was always there to support her family, even if she did not have much to give.
A wonderful friend to those that crossed her path, Angie was even a friend to those that went in different directions in life. She was a wonderful person with a big heart.
Angie was a wonderfully talented woman, from her writing to drawings to awesome objects. Everyone loved her cooking and just being around her. She loved owls, butterflies, Pegasus, low-rider arte, and her favorite color was purple.
Always thinking about others before herself, it is easy to see why so many loved Angie. She was a loving mom that made many sacrifices for her kids – she loved unconditionally. She also loved her co-workers and customers at Wendy’s so much. They were her second family, away from home. Angie would put smiles on everyone’s faces and in the hearts with all the love that she gave.
Angie’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Angie are her children: Daniel Griego, Christy Garcia, Julia Montoya, Jennifer Briggs, Rina Griego, John Briggs; grandchildren: Elida, Nathanyal, Elian, Daniel Jr, Sean, Thomas (TJ), Adalita, Ethan, Dahlia, Robert, Everett, Conner, Emilia, Chulito, Marshal; father, Bert Griego; siblings: Bert Griego, Ruth Hopkins, Monica Griego; aunt, Christine Marquez; nephews: Ryan Montoya, Jace, Sawyer, Josh, Robert; and niece, Katrina.

This tribute was written in honor of Angie by her loving family.
