Dreta M. Hutsell passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, peacefully with family by her side. Her family will be receiving condolences at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home with a public visitation on Thursday, March 1, 2018, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In addition, family and friends will gather to celebrate Dreta’s life of 89 years at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2018, 1:00 PM. On February 3, 1929, Dreta was born to Jesse and Vada Pack in Roswell, New Mexico. She married Paul Hutsell on April 14, 1948, in Modesto, California. Together they served as foreign missionaries with the Assemblies of God from 1956 to 1998. Dreta was an accomplished musician, played several instruments, and appreciated music up to the last days of her life. She loved the Lord and dedicated her life to sharing the goodness of Christ with others.
Paul preceded her in death and they are now reunited in heaven.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughters: Diane Collins (Ron), Beverly Moss (Mike); sons: Philip Hutsell (Devonna), Steven Hutsell, Loren Hutsell (Heather); one sister, three brothers, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
