Pie auction raises thousands for Goddard FFA

On Feb. 9, the Goddard FFA Chapter held its annual dessert auction at Goddard High School. Every year, the Goddard FFA Chapter hosts a dessert auction, many local businesses and individuals throughout the community come out and support their organization.

This year, there were a total of 31 homemade desserts auctioned off and earned just over $18,000. The Goddard FFA Chapter will use this money throughout the year on various judging trips (Career Development Events) and other expenses to teach their students about agricultural and its importance.

The Goddard FFA Chapter would like to thank Peppers Bar and Grill for catering the event. We’d like to thank the auctioneer, Trent Bilberry.
