Soprano to perform at ENMU on March 8

Eastern New Mexico University will host “An Evening of Global Music with Soprano Lily Zhang” in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building on the Portales campus at 7 p.m. on March 8.

Zhang, a visiting professor of voice at Colorado State University-Pueblo, is the first soprano and voice professor of China who was awarded honorable doctor degrees in arts, teaching and performance by three American universities in the history of higher education between China and the United States.

Her piano accompanist will be ENMU alumnae Sarah Sena of Clovis Municipal Schools.

The event is free and open to the public.
