Altrusa members teach financial literacy

Altrusa Member Claudette Foster leads a Financial Literacy class for students at CASA. Members of Altrusa International of Roswell, NM, Inc. are teaching a Financial Literacy class to students in Roswell. The Financial Literacy pilot program was created in 2017. Classes were taught for high school students at the Unity Center and to elementary-age students at the Boys and Girls Club. This year, the program is being expanded and classes will be held at CASA, the Assurance Home, All Saints Catholic School and other locations interested in the Financial Literacy program. These classes are led by members of Altrusa and each student leaves the class with a workbook and financial tips that will hopefully give them knowledge to make sound financial decisions in the future.
