Have you had issues with the new smart water meters? If so, the Daily Record would like to hear stories from the community.

A news release from the city said the installation of the smart meters has resulted in some unanticipated temporary issues negatively impacting the city’s water-billing capabilities. The release also said the city is taking action to resolve the issues and is hoping the billing system will have a resolution on these issues by mid-April.

The city apologized to the residents for any troubles they faced from this issue but also said this project is moving forward from antiquated meters to a state-of-the-art system.

Whether your bill has delayed, your water has been shut off, or you have a meter and it is working as it should be, here is an opportunity to share your story.
