Local residents should be alert to a group of people going door to door in Roswell claiming to be with Professional Fundraising Agency, LLC or Professional Fundraising Association, LLC.

They are claiming to be raising money to send care packages to military troops or otherwise support military troops.

The Roswell Police Department believes this group may be representing or presenting themselves as representing an organization that is the subject of a warning issued by the Better Business Bureau.

Information about the BBB warning can be found at www.bbb.org/stlouis/news-events/bbb-warnings/2017/04/professional-fundraising-association/.

The solicitors in Roswell are also claiming to be working with the Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell campus.
