Andrew “AJ” Joseph “Joephus” Morro was reunited with his beloved Grandparents, Alvin Louis “Lou” Morro, Vera Marie Lebeda, Sandi Morro, and his frisky Kitty Cat, “Polly”, on Saturday, March 17, 2018. A Memorial Service will be Friday, March 30, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Celebrate Andrew’s life by visiting www.andersonbethany.com to offer a memory or expression of sympathy for his family.
Born on May 17, 1992, Andrew had many important accomplishments in his short life. He was the most loving and devoted son, and a doting father to his precious daughter. Her wish was his wish, whether playing at the park or playing with Play Dough at grandma’s table, or simply dancing to her favorite song. We don’t have time to discuss the many baby dolls that he diapered and fed and bathed and put to bed with her. If she wanted to paint his toenails, so shall it be, silver and purple were the last we saw. He never missed an opportunity to make her smile. She was, simply put, the joy and love of his life.
Andrew loved his family. He loved spending time with everyone, just hanging out, playing golf, EATING!, playing video games and watching movies. At Family Game Night, he was always the clown that made everyone laugh. The funniest thing about Andrew was he laughed like a girl when being tickled. Even just the threat of being tickled by anyone would send him into a fit of girlish laughter. No one will ever think of that and not smile.
If you had an errand to run that you just couldn’t get to, he was your guy. Offer up a little gas money or food and he was “in!” He was loyal to a fault when it came to his friends. He didn’t follow anyone’s rules and marched to the beat of his own drum. And speaking of drums, he was the Rock Band Master, playing drums, guitar, you name it . . . and left handed.
Andrew was spiritual and faithful. If you were loved by him, you were truly blessed. He loved with his whole heart, with no conditions.
He will be remembered differently by each of us. His Mother will remember his first day in this world, to his very last, and every day in between, with sorrow and sadness. But also with great happiness and joy that he brought to her life from the moment she knew that God had chosen “her” to give life to this beautiful boy, her one true love.
Now we wonder how Karina Rae will remember her Daddy! Her heart will always remember, the rest depends on us. When we remember Andrew, we must remember the Joy, the Love, the Light, and the Laughter that he brought to each of our lives, he gave us the most precious gift of his beautiful and tenacious child to guide us and give us light on our darkest days, still to come. Think of her and you will be reminded of how wonderful Andrew was.
Left to cherish the memory and life of Andrew are his mother, Antonette “Toni” Morro; daughter, Karina Rae Morro; aunt, Reva Mason; uncles: Matthew Morro, Tim Mason; cousins his first best friends: Katherine Pantoja, Cory Loy, Joshua Mason, Miranda Morro, Savannah Morro, Junior Mason; sister, Miranda “Randy Roo” Leyba; and grandfather, David Lebeda.
