Rampant burglaries consume police calls Wednesday

Wednesday incidents

Police were dispatched to an attempted vehicle burglary call at the 1200 block of West McGaffey Street at 2 a.m. A 2007 Chevy Yukon was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to a non-aggravated battery on a household member call at the 1000 block of South Union Avenue at 5:30 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a non-forced burglary call at the 100 block of North Kansas Avenue at 8:45 a.m. A Toshiba laptop, speakers, and a Marlin rifle were reported stolen. The total estimated value was $650.

Police were dispatched to a report of embezzlement at the 1500 block of Adams Avenue at 11:11 a.m. A collection of miscellaneous hardware items with a total value of $117 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to a report of battery at the 1500 block of Pontiac Drive at 11:27 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a burglary by forced entry at the 1900 block of South Main Street at 11:50 a.m. A green chainsaw, Sony stereo, Sewer Snake, and Craftsman tools with a total estimated value of $2,050 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to a report of battery at the 2800 block of West Bland Street at 11:55 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a non-forced burglary call at the 100 block of Cedar Circle at 2:34 p.m. A C Pack machine valued at $5,000 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to a mental evaluation at the 1500 block of North Michigan Avenue at 4:53 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a larceny at the 1100 block of South Union Avenue at 5:53 p.m. A paramedic license and vehicle title were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to a report of harassment at the 100 block of South Union Avenue at 6:19 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a larceny shoplifting call at the Stripes at 1217 E. Second St. at 8:45 p.m. A container of Budweiser valued at $11.06 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to a criminal damage call at the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue at 8:51 p.m. A door frame was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to a non-aggravated battery on a household member call at the 1300 block of East Alameda Street at 9:18 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a verbal domestic dispute call at the 800 block of East Albuquerque Street at 10:23 p.m.

Wednesday arrests

Aaron Chandler Gaston was charged with disorderly conduct at the 400 block of West 10th Street at 2:57 a.m.

Gabrielle Virginia Reyes-Barrera was charged with fraud at Stacy Drive at 8:16 a.m.

Michele H. Morrow was charged with failure to appear, failure to comply and failure to pay fines at Roswell Municipal Court at 420 N. Richardson Avenue at 11:30 a.m.

Andrew Nathaniel Lopez-Cobos was charged with battery upon a peace officer at the 1100 block of North Garden Avenue at 9:06 p.m.

Danica R. Piasso was charged with a miscellaneous arrest from another agency at the 1600 block of South Sunset Avenue at 11:28 p.m.
