Rosemary M. Lucero Quintana, 57, Rosemary went home to heaven Friday, April 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In accordance with Rosemary’s wishes, she will be cremated. A Rosary will be recited at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, April 12, 2018, 10:00 AM, followed by a Service at 11:00 AM. On March 10, 1961, Rosemary was born to Carlos and Anastacia Lucero in Roswell, New Mexico. A graduate of Roswell High School, Rosemary relocated to Albuquerque twenty-five years ago. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for over fifteen years at Rain Tunnel Car Spa, where she dedicated most of her time and held a huge part in the expansion of the business as a whole.
On September 24, 1999, Rosemary married her soulmate, Atilano Quintana. Lee and Rose were not only soulmates but the bestest of friends. They loved camping, gardening and traveling. Their most memorable trip was when they took a vacation from coast to coast in 2008. Lee absolutely loved his “Rosie” as much as she truly loved her “honey”.
Those left to cherish Rosemary’s memory are her mother, Anastacia Lucero; son, Roland Lucero; daughter, Elisianna Madrid; son-in-law, Eric Madrid; grandsons: Ezekiel “Zeke” Chaves, Robert “Rob” Madrid, Jason “Jay” Madrid; her “princess”, Alissa Madrid; brother, Charlie Lucero; sisters: Cecilia and husband, Emilio Salgado, Kathy Lucero, Korina and husband, Kevin Groseclose; brother and sisters-in-law, Jimmy, Eddie, and Billy Quintana, Kim, Josie, Mary and Frances Quintana, Irene Archuleta and Velma Montoya; as well as many nephews and nieces, whom she adored.
Rosemary was greeted at heaven gates by her grandparents: Miguel and Ana Lucero, Fernando and Catarina Montez; father, Carlos Lucero; sister, Dorthy; the love of her life, Lee Quintana; nephews: Baby Joe and Neimiah; and her best fur baby, Roxy.
Those chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are: Roland Lucero, Eric Madrid, Emilio Salgado, Zeke Chaves, Robert Madrid and Jason Madrid.
Roland and Elisianna would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Buck and Faye Buckner and the entire Rain Tunnel family, Dr. Wang, El Camino Imaging, Ruby Parks, and special friends: Jose Rafael Saenz and Pete Mendiola.
