Authorities are continuing the investigation of an armed robbery from Sunday night at a convenience store in north Roswell.

According to an incident report by the Roswell Police Department, officer Sean Hudson was dispatched to Circle K at 3213 N. Main St. at about 11:43 p.m. Sunday and spoke with a witness working at the store during the holdup.

“(The woman) stated a male subject described (as) a short and slender male wearing a gray hoodie, hat and a black ski mask covering (his) face enter the store,” Hudson wrote. “(She) stated the male subject had a pistol and demanded money and cigarettes from her.”

The woman, complying with the suspect, told police she gave the man an unknown amount of money and cigarettes.

Police were told the man later left the store, traveling north on foot. The female employee eventually pressed a panic button and called police.
