In the mood for some Asian fare but looking for something a bit more original? Asian Market & Seafood Restaurant is very excited to bring you recognizable but distinct dishes from the other side of the Pacific Ocean. You aren’t going to find chicken nuggets doused in sugary jarred sauces here. As Roswell’s only combined eatery and grocer specializing in East Asian foodstuffs, you can expect Asian Market & Seafood Restaurant to provide one of the area’s finest selection of East Asian fare that’s sure to leave an impression.

Seafood Stir Fry

The growing selection of dishes and their subtle differences that this quaint eatery serves is fresh. Take the seafood stir fry for example. The usual seafood stir fry consists of some seafood, sauce, and vegetables. Most of us who like Asian cuisine have had this dish before yet this little concession adds its own small twist by adding holy basil, not to be confused with Thai or lemon basil, transforming a good stir fry into a great one. The peppery, clove-like holy basil lends a hand to a dish that would otherwise be “missing something”.

Garlic Pork

Another welcome dish with a twist, especially for garlic lovers, would be the garlic pork. Although Thai in origin, it’s a good representation of Cantonese cuisine as well. Garlic and onion are frequently used in that province, but this dish has a sauce which isn’t typical but nice because it’s served with rice that absorbs the sauce. Despite its name, the dish doesn’t overpower the palate with a mouthful of garlic but it’s present just enough for the other flavors to come through while still highlighting the magnificence that is garlic.

Shrimp Pad Thai

Looking for a delicious favorite? The pad thai here won’t disappoint. Ranked as one of top 50 most delicious foods in the world, there’ll always be a fan of pad thai in your group. This dish is one that Thai people can’t live without meaning the recipe is pretty much untouchable. A great pad thai is always consistent – rice noodles, eggs, tamarind paste, fish sauce, palm sugar, garlic, shallots, bean sprouts, roasted peanuts, crushed dried chili, and your choice of protein. A spritz of lime if you want some tang. Any deviation from it is just something else so you’re never too late to savor this tasty and nutritious street food.

Please visit Asian Market & Seafood Restaurant and you’ll soon discover they offer a good variety of Asian cuisine that stands up against the finest in town. From a rich crab platter to a mountain of delicious fried rice – there’s something for everybody. If you’d rather create your own Asian favorites, there’s a wide variety of ingredients and utensils to choose from as you pass on the way to the eatery in the back.
