A loving mother, sister, wife and grandmother, Guadalupe L. Alvidrez, 66, entered into rest on Thursday, May 10, 2018, in Roswell, New Mexico.

There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Sunday, May 13, 2018, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2018, 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Celebrate Guadalupe’s life by visiting www.andersonbethany.com to offer a memory or expression of sympathy for her family.

On December 21, 1951, Guadalupe was born to Daniel and Mercedes Lucero in Los Sauces Ind, Durango, Mexico. She met the love of her life, Jaime Alvidrez in 1979, and got married on April 19, 1989, in Roswell, New Mexico. Guadalupe was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked for seventeen years at TMC prior to retirement due to illness. Guadalupe enjoyed dancing, cooking, swimming and music. She will be greatly missed and the memories she shared with her family and friends will forever remain in their hearts.

Those left to eternally treasure and cherish Guadalupe’s memory are her husband, Jaime Alvidrez; daughter, Gloria Ponce and husband, Javier; grandchildren: Ezequiel Ponce, Mercedes Ponce, Thalia Ponce; great-granddaughter, Mailani Ponce; brother, Gerardo Lucero; sister, Lorenza Medina; nieces and nephews: Elvira Lucero, Arturo Lucero, Ilma Sanchez, Juanita Monroy, Araceli Ortiz, Isaias Medina; and loving pet, Lola.

Preceding Guadalupe in death were her parents: Daniel Lucero and Mercedes Valenzuela de Lucero; grandmother, Lucia “Chia” Lucero; and nephew, Baby Daniel Lucero.
