Woman sought in connection with robbery

The FBI has released this photo of a woman who allegedly robbed a Dexter bank Friday afternoon.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Dexter Police Department are looking for a woman believed to have been involved in a bank robbery Friday afternoon.

According to an FBI news release, the woman they are searching for wore a camouflage outfit and left the scene in a gold or tan station wagon.

The FBI said that a robbery occurred at the Valley Bank of Commerce at 201 Old Dexter Highway in Dexter at about 2:45 p.m. Friday.

According to the FBI account, the suspect entered the bank, demanded money from a teller and said she had a gun. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who put the money in a red bag and left the bank.

The suspect was seen driving a gold or tan station wagon with its rear license plate covered, the announcement stated. Law enforcement say the woman wore sunglasses, gray camouflage pants, a jacket, a hat and boots.
